We have exciting news to share. A new professional development opportunity is coming to IUPUI this spring for faculty and staff who are invested in the first-year experiences of students. It's been named The Big Wahooie and it's all about enhancing the first-year experience at IUPUI. This includes gateway courses, first-year seminars, learning communities, Summer Bridge, and everything in between!
To clarify, this isn't another event that you should attend, it's the event. After numerous conversations with faculty and staff across IUPUI, we have decided to put a moratorium on the retreats of our programs and instead focus on a single, unified experience—one where we can share knowledge and expertise that can benefit all freshmen.
