Helping students reach their full potential

Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) was founded on IUPUI’s campus in 1956. It has grown with the university and puts a lot of effort into creating a positive educational experience for all students.

By working with Harriett Bennett and University College, Ron Collier has found IMCU to be another face of IUPUI that encourages students to reach their full potential. As a partner of IUPUI, IMCU chooses to support student higher education as well as the educators and administrators. Collier knows that while donating gives an individual a pleasant and rewarding experience, he also believes that supporting higher education is definitely worthwhile, and he will do whatever he can in this arena. He also feels that it will take support from all levels to improve the opportunities of our undergraduate students.

A perfect scholarship would be one awarded in the first year of undergraduate studies that is designed to take pressure off of students being on their own for the first time.

Ron Collier

Collier believes strongly in scholarships, and he thinks a perfect scholarship would be one awarded in the first year of undergraduate studies and designed to take pressure off of students being on their own for the first time. It would allow the student to concentrate on school and to see that higher education is the answer to life’s ambitions. Once this is realized by the student, Collier believes the student would strive to complete college regardless of any sacrifices he or she might have to make.
