Retention Councils to Meet

Indianapolis, IN (April 2011) – The Council on Retention and Graduation and the Enrollment Management Council will meet at the IUPUI Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (IT) Building on Friday, April 15, at 8:30 a.m. to construct an IUPUI response to the Indiana University academic Roadmap initiative.

This combined summit of the two faculty and staff groups reprises a similar meeting in the fall of 2010 where the electronic personal development plan (e-PDP) was unveiled as a critical new tool to encourage student engagement and success. A major goal for the April 15 summit will be looking for ways to fully integrate the e-PDP into the planning and development of the academic roadmap. Joining the IUPUI council summit will be IU Bloomington’s Dr. Sonya Stephens, vice provost for undergraduate education, and Dr. Dennis Groth, associate vice provost for undergraduate education, as well as guests from other IU campuses from around the state.
