Indianapolis, IN (September 2017) – The IUPUI Bepko Learning Center has been selected as third place winner of the 2017 National College Learning Association and the Learning Support Centers in Higher Education (NCLCA/LSCHE) Website Excellence Awards for their newly relaunched website. This award is co-sponsored by the National College Learning Association and the Learning Support Centers in Higher Education. The Bepko Learning Center will be honored at the 32nd National College Learning Center Association annual conference in San Antonio, Texas, this month.
In preparation for the website transition, Taylor Dietl, marketing brand strategist for the Bepko Learning Center, surveyed the departments of Academic Enrichment, Academic Mentoring, and Tutorial Support for their specific needs. “We did our best to provide easy-to understand, comprehensive resources,” he explains. The website equips students with staff profiles, study materials, ways to schedule appointments, and access to the most up-to-date information concerning mentoring, tutoring sessions, and exams. It also integrates Bepko’s recently expanded social media platforms to make the website more approachable for students.
The Bepko Learning Center goes above and beyond to provide students with access to tools that foster increased use of all academic resources on campus and to aid students in their academic success. They hope to continue to improve their website and resources offered in the years to come.
