After the keynote, the oral and poster presentations began. There was a total of 68 presentations, divided between 23 oral presenters and 45 posters.

“The IUURC event was a place to marvel at what many undergraduate students are doing to impact their communities, and to share in that showcase was nothing short of an honor to me,” said Aaron Kile, an IUPUI student.

After the research competition, three winners were announced. First place went to Luke Jackson from IUPUI, second place was awarded to Kile, and third place went to Devon Miller from Bloomington.

“I really enjoyed the conference,” Jackson said. “It was a good way for me to gain valuable experience and skills needed to present my research in a professional setting. I also thought that the conference was a great way for me to network and to see all the incredible research being done throughout the IU system.”

Several supporting offices that provided sponsorship support for the conference include the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, IUPUI; the Office of the Vice President for Research, Indiana University; and the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President, Indiana University Bloomington.
